In the last three decade NGOs in India have contributed for the development of Indian society in various field including, Human right, HIV/Aids, Tsunami rehabilitation, etc. Despite their hard work the recognition of their work among public is always undermined, being one of the biggest Networking organisation for South Indian NGOs, Web-NGOs has decided to do something on it, hence is this programme “NGOs of the Month”.

NGOs of the Month is a programme of Web-NGOs intended to give recognition and appreciation for the role model NGOs working for the development of the community and their by promote best practice in the third sector. In order to qualify for this program participants who are NGOs working in South India should send the details of their organization and the success they want share with other NGOs. The applicants of this programme will be analyzed by a selection panel which is group of expert from all different fields. All successful candidates will be qualified as competent for the NGOs of the Year Award. The NGOs of the Year will be given the most successful project among the twelve contestant.
